Vel Surgery
FacebookAbout Us
We have produced this website to provide you with information about the way the Practice is organised and the services that are provided directly by Practice Staff, or by other members of the Primary Health Care Team. Services will, by necessity, change from time to time, please do not hesitate to telephone the Practice to check the current position.
Sheppey Primary Care Network
Vel Surgery is part of Sheppey Primary Care Network
Primary care networks (PCNs) build on the core of current primary care services and enable greater provision of proactive, personalised, coordinated and more integrated health and social care. Clinicians describe this as a change from reactively providing appointments to proactively care for the people and communities they serve. Where emerging PCNs are in place in parts of the country, there are clear benefits for patients and clinicians.
Patient Registration
It is quick and easy to register with a GP using our simple online GP registration form. Whether you are new to the area or have never registered with a GP practice before, there is usually no need to come to the practice to complete your registration and no proof of address is required.
All Patients will be allocated a GP but you can see any of our Doctors when you need to.

We want to get better at communicating with our patients and ensure you can read and understand the information we send you.
