We are delighted to announce that from mid-July we will have volunteers in the surgery working closely with our practice team.
Our volunteers can help you with a variety of things from a blood pressure check before your appointment to any advice needed to use any other services that may be of help to you. We can help you to use the NHS App to order your prescriptions from your phone or to request clinical advice via the practice website using e-consult.
All of this will be carried out on a one to one basis at the surgery in privacy and comfort. Our volunteers are all patients at the practice.
We have had a DBS criminal record check and have signed a confidentiality agreement.
All you need to do is ask the receptionist about us and they will let you know when you can meet us. If you already have an appointment at the surgery just let receptions know that you would like to see us and we will do the rest. You are very welcome to just come to say hello – we would love to meet you.
